FAQ

How far ahead should I book my Copy Makeover?

Services are usually booked out 4 – 6 weeks in advance, so booking it sooner rather than later is best!

You can easily save a spot in the schedule by making a $500 non-refundable deposit to make sure no one swipes your slot.

Do you have payment plans?

That’s how I roll, baby.

Once we decide to work together, you’ll be billed a $500 (or 30%, whichever is more) non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to hold your spot in my production schedule. Then, the remainder will be billed when I deliver your copy. 

Full Monty Funnel Fix will be billed in 3 convenient installments – your deposit ($500 or 30%, whichever is more), then 50% of the remaining balance will be invoiced at project kickoff, and the final amount on copy delivery.

Is this an express service? Can I get my copy next week?

I don’t normally offer express copywriting services, and am usually booked out 4 – 6 weeks in advance, but can often sneak something in for an additional small rush fee. If a rush service, payment in full upon booking is required.

Do I need to have a sales page written already? Is this something you’ll help me with?

You don’t need a sales page or funnel in place to book your Copy Makeover, but you should have all the details figured out. I need to feel comfortable that you’ve done your due diligence, have a solid plan in place, and are ready to commit to your success rather than flying by the seat of your pants.

You’ll be sent a copy of one or both of my copywriting guides and resources to help you write your draft(s). Plus, you’ll receive 5 business days of personal email support to answer your questions or help if you get stuck during the week you write your draft.

Your sales copy draft is due 48 hours before our project kick-off session.

How do I get my sales page copy to you?

Google Docs, baby – it’s my go-to resource for online collaboration with clients. You’ll need a Google account to get started with Google Docs.

If you prefer other software, like Microsoft Word, it’s easy to copy/paste your Word document into Google Docs, or vice-versa.

How long will a Copy Makeover take?

Once you hand over your copy draft(s) to me, I only need 1 week.

Keep in mind that this is turnaround time, and that you can expect to wait 4 – 6 weeks (or more) before I’m actually able to start working on it.

 

I’ve never written a sales page or funnel before...is that okay?

Sure is, and there’s no time like the present to learn!

Writing for your online business is a must-have skill for every entrepreneur, and I’ve got tools and resources to help make learning copywriting easy – not scary, overwhelming or confusing.

Will you makeover other pages, like Work With Me or Services?

Absolutely! 

For best results, I strongly recommend each program or offer have its own sales page. This will reduce overwhelming your online visitors (people get confused with too many things to do on a web page…so they usually do nothing).

How much personal time will I get with you?

You’ll get a quick 15 minutes with me to get the process started, then…

During the week you write your draft, you’ll have email access to me to ask questions or get help if you need it (note: email access is during Mon-Fri only. Please allow up to 24 hours for me to respond).

Then, we’ll have another, more detailed kick-off session on Skype for about an hour once your copy’s drafted and before I start writing.

Finally, your Copy Makeover will be delivered by me personally by email.

You might also receive the occasional communication from either myself or my assistant throughout the process to make sure milestones are being met, questions answered and things generally moving forward.
